Tonight: Mostly cloudy to overcast skies. Temperatures will dip down into the upper 30s to lower 40s by the morning.  

Wednesday: Clouds will continue to hold tight over the area. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 50s and overnight temperatures are down in the mid 30s. Some areas of frost will be possible by Thursday morning. Best to keep the plants covered or keep them indoors for the next couple of days. Do NOT forget about your pets!  

Thursday & Friday: High temperatures will be in the lower 50s on Thursday with passing clouds. A passing disturbance could lead to a shower or two, but the best chance for rain will be closer to the coast. Overnight temperatures may dip down into the low and mid 30s. Some may even drop into the upper 20s northeast of Baton Rouge. Expect a freeze or frost by Friday morning. High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 50s on Friday thanks to more sunshine in place.  

This Weekend: Another cold front will move through the area by Saturday and a couple of showers are possible later in the day. Highs will be in the mid 50s. Overnight temperatures will be in the 30s again. More sunshine on Sunday, but it will stay cool. A light freeze or frost may be possible again Sunday night and into Monday morning. 

Next Week Outlook: Temperatures are likely going to moderate into the 60s next week and leading up to Thanksgiving. For now, Thanksgiving Day temperatures may be in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees. Another system may move in Wednesday and Thanksgiving. Stay tuned as we iron out the details.
