Tonight: Mainly clear and cold. Morning temperatures will drop down into the mid 30s for most areas by daybreak. Areas of fog will be possible, as well as frost, especially north and east of Baton Rouge. Protect people, pets, and plants!

Wednesday: Plenty of sunshine with highs in the lower and mid 60s. Overnight temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s.  

Thursday: Even warmer with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Highs will top out near 70°F. Overnight temperatures in the low and mid 50s. 

Christmas Eve: Turning much warmer in the mid and upper 70s. Breezy at times. Overnight in the low and mid 60s. Areas of fog will be possible for Santa’s trip to the Red Stick. 

Christmas Day: Partly cloudy, warm, and quiet with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Very warm!  

Sunday & Next Week: Feeling like springtime with highs in the upper 70s to around 80°F. Temperatures will continue to trend above normal into next week. Temperatures will be in the mid and upper 70s and lows in the 60s. Slight rain chances return by Tuesday.
