Tracking the Tropics: There are three areas highlighted by the NHC. No imminent threats, but it will be something to keep an eye on. The wave in the Caribbean could become a tropical system in the coming days and could even enter the southern Gulf this weekend. Too soon to tell where it ends up, but it could bring a plume of tropical moisture our way, regardless. Next names on the list are Ida and Julian.
