Tonight: There is the chance for a few overnight showers, but skies will be overcast. Temperatures will drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s, but it will be a muggy night. Winds will be easterly at 10 mph with gusts of 20 mph. Low near 71.
Tomorrow: More showers and possibly thunderstorms will move through the state as Beta continues to move northeastward. Most of the heavy rain will be in the western portion of the state. Scattered storms will move through the southeastern portion of the state. It will be a warmer day with temperatures returning to the 80s. Highs will still be below average. Winds will be southeasterly at 10-15 mph with gusts of 25 mph. High near 82.
Extended: Thursday will be a transition day as Beta moves through the state as a remnant low. There is the chance for a few passing showers. Skies will be cloudy otherwise. Friday will be mostly dry, but there is again the chance for isolated showers. Friday, however, is when we’ll finally start to see some sunshine. Over the weekend, highs will sit in the mid 80s, and a cold front will keep temperatures from getting much higher than that. Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny with temperatures still in the mid 80s.
