Tonight: Showers will end this evening, leading to a fairly quiet night. We’re once again looking at another mostly dry night. There is a slight chance for an isolated shower, but overall, skies will be mostly cloudy. Muggy conditions will continue as our dew points will sit in the 70s, but temperatures will be near average. Winds will be light. Low near 75.
Tomorrow: Wednesday will be a transitional day in a way. We’re moving into a much drier and warmer pattern. Tomorrow’s highs will rise into the upper 80s and lower 90s, but heat indices could reach the 100s. We are expecting storms tomorrow, but they will be a lot more scattered in nature. Most of the heavy rain will stay to our north, which will provide some much needed relief. The timing for the storms will be around noon, but we could see a few isolated showers and storms before that time. The storms will taper off in the early evening, and the night will be mostly dry. Winds will again be light. High near 90.
Extended: On Thursday, we’re looking at a much drier pattern. There is a slight chance for an isolated shower, but the day will be mostly dry. We’ll even see a bit of sunshine, making for a great pool day. Friday will be another hot one with lots of sunshine and low rain chances. Highs on both days will be in the lower 90s, but the weekend will be a little hotter. Highs are rising into the mid 90s, and with dew points factored in, heat indices will surely reach the 100s and maybe the 110s in some areas. Make sure to protect yourself and your loved ones from the heat this weekend and on Monday, which will features temperatures in the mid 90s as well. Tuesday’s temperatures will be slightly lower, but the day will still be very hot.
