This evening, a few of you may see some relief from the heat with isolated to spotty storms.

The storms should remain non-severe for most, however, there is a MARGINAL RISK (1/5) for severe thunderstorms in our northern parishes and our Mississippi counties. This means the chance of seeing severe weather today and tonight is very low in these areas, but possible. Any severe weather seen should be isolated. The main risk will be damaging winds.

The storms also have a risk of heavy downpours with a MARGINAL RISK (1/4) for flash flooding. Another risk for localized flash flooding on Friday.
