Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies with a slight rain chance before 8 p.m. Lows near 72° with winds out of the northwest at 5 mph.
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy skies with storms starting early as a frontal system passes through southeast Louisiana. These storms have the potential to produce heavy rainfall, gusty winds and frequent lightning. Highs near 85° with light winds.
Extended: A weak frontal system will pass trough Tuesday increasing our rain chances and setting us up for a marginal risk for excessive rainfall. As a result, please watch for localized flooding along roadways, small creeks and streams. A few storms may linger into Wednesday keeping our rain chances around 50%. By Thursday we’ll go back to our typical summer pattern with a mix of sun and clouds, highs in the low 90’s, and afternoon thunderstorms.
