StormTracker Team forecast…We kick off the morning on a warm and muggy note, but that will soon change. A cool front will pass through the area later on today. Ahead of the front, scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to pop up. The rain chance is around 40%. Cooler and drier air will settle in behind the front tonight. The area will be sitting in the low to mid-60s by Tuesday morning.
Seasonal/near-seasonal days ahead with temperatures in the mid-80s, but temperatures will begin to warm into the upper 80s to around 90° once again by Thursday. Moisture returns on Thursday before a stronger front pushes through the region on Friday. Showers will likely linger into Saturday morning, but temperatures will drop quickly in wake of the front. Highs will only be in the 70s and lows will be in the 50s this weekend. If you’re headed to the UF vs LSU game or the PVAMU vs Southern game, you may need a sweater or jacket!
