Extended – We’ve got another rainy week with the potential for heavy rain. Scattered thunderstorms return tomorrow afternoon. A few individual thunderstorms could be strong to severe. We currently sit under a Marginal Risk for severe weather.
The wet pattern will continue through late Saturday. Our next frontal system stalls bringing multiple rounds of heavy rain. Every day won’t be a loss, but rain should be anticipated before leaving the house. Current rain estimates show 3-6″ of rain over the next five days. Localized flash flooding could be an issue at times. Avoid high water while driving.
Temperatures will trend slightly below average this week mainly because of the upcoming clouds and rain. Expect highs in the 70s and possible upper 60s.
