Tonight: Our skies will start off partly cloudy then gradually clear overnight. Lows near 71° with calm winds.
Tomorrow: A mix of sun and clouds with storms developing late morning into the afternoon. Storms will be capable of producing heavy downpours, gusty winds, and frequent lightning. Highs near 89° with winds out of the southeast at 5 mph.
Extended: We’ll settle into a typical summer pattern over the next week with highs in the upper 80’s low 90’s and daily afternoon storms. A frontal boundary is forecast to move through southeast Louisiana Monday night into Tuesday. This will bring increased rain chances for widespread rainfall throughout the day Tuesday. We’ll return to our typical afternoon showers and storms Wednesday through Friday.
