Extended: A strong storm system is making it’s way through the plains and upper Mississippi Valley this weekend with the tail end pushing through Louisiana. As a result, we’ll see an increased chance for rain on Sunday with a few strong to severe stroms. Once the storms push through Sunday we’ll dry out slightly Monday with only a slight chance for spotty showers. Beyond Monday high pressure moves in, our skies clear out, and our temperatures rise.Tuesday through Friday we’ll see mostly sunny skies and temperatures hovering right around 90°.
