Tonight: Strong to severe storms likely with a wind advisory in effect until 12:00 am. Lows near 60° with winds out of the south at 20-30 mph.
Tomorrow: Mix of sun and clouds with gusty winds out of the west at 15-20 mph. Highs near 67°.
Extended: We remain under a moderate and enhanced risk for strong to severe storms Saturday night. A Tronado Watch has been issued off to our north including Pointe Coupe, East & West Feliciana and St. Helena parish along with Wilkinson, Amite & Pike county Mississippi until 9:00 p.m. All forms of severe weather are possible so it’s important to remain weather aware and have at least two ways to recieve warnings.
Timing: 6pm – 2am
Impacts: Damaging winds in excess of 60 mph, hail up to 1″+, isolated tonadoes, heavy raindall.
Once the front moves through Saturday night into early Sunday morning our temperatures will drop leaving us only in the mid 60’s for Sunday. Our temperatures will warm back up into the mid 70’s low 80’s by the beinging of the week with mostly sunny skies.
