Today: Although we’ve experienced warm temperatures over the past few weeks, our hottest temperatures of the year are coming today. Highs will rise into the upper 80s and lower 90s, and we could break the record for the high temperature for this date. We’ll start things off with mostly cloudy skies, but by the afternoon, we’ll see sunshine and blue skies. Winds will be southerly at 5-10 mph. Highs near 88.
Tonight: It will be another warm night with temperatures falling into the upper 60s. Clouds will return to the area, so skies will mainly be partly cloudy overnight. Winds will be southerly at 5-10 mph. Lows near 68.
Extended: Friday will almost be a carbon copy of today with morning clouds and afternoon sunshine and temperatures in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Saturday will be another warm day with more clouds in the picture. We could break or tie records on both of these days. A cold front will move through the area on Saturday night, and we’ll see a line of showers ahead of the front. Sunday will be cooler with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s, and then on Monday, our temperatures will return to the 70s. There is a chance for scattered showers on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, our temperatures will be even cooler and very seasonable.
