Today: Mix of sun and clouds with winds out of the east at 5 -10 mph. Highs near 77°.
Tonight: Cloud cover increasing overnight with winds out of the southeast at 10-15 mph. Lows near 60°.
Extended: We’ll remain dry today before the front that stalled in the gulf moves north through southeast Louisiana tonight. This will bring the mositure and warmer temperatures back into the forecast area as well as increasing our chances for spotty showers. Our next frontal system will sink into Baton Rouge Wednesday night into Thursday bringing increased storms chances. We’ll cool off and dry out behind the front just in time for St. Patricks Day weekend.
