StormTracker Team forecast…After a brief cool down, it’s back to summer-like conditions for the next few days. Temperatures will trend above-normal in the mid and upper 80s, along with higher humidity. Rain chances will begin to increase starting on Thursday and Friday. Scattered showers are possible on Thursday during the afternoon and early evening. A cold front moves through on Friday, which will trigger scattered to numerous showers and isolated storms. Some storms may be on the stronger side, so be sure to keep an eye to the eye and if you hear thunder, head indoors. The front is expected to move to the south of our area by late Friday night/Saturday morning. Cooler and drier air will move in behind the front. Highs on Saturday are expected to be in the low to mid-70s. If you’re headed to the football games, be sure to grab a light jacket or a sweater. A nice chill to the air by Sunday morning – temperatures will be sitting in the 50s, but that won’t last long. Temperatures will rebound into the upper 70s to around 80 by Sunday afternoon.
