Tonight- Increasing clouds. Mild and muggy. Lows near 69.
Tomorrow – Warm and humid. Filtered sunshine. Highs near 88.
Extended – If you thought today was warm, you were correct. We tied a record high of 90° this afternoon. The current pattern remains above normal until our next cold front clears on Friday. Temperatures will eventually become more seasonable for Saturday and Sunday. The same front also drives in our next round of showers and storms for Friday morning.
Multiple disturbances throughout the weekend and early next week will keep the threat of rain in the forecast through Wednesday. Storms will be spotty on Saturday. Storms become more numerous on Sunday. Rain will be isolated for Monday and Tuesday. Another batch of rain arrives on Wednesday. Eventually, a drier pattern returns by Thursday.
Luckily with all of the forecasted rain, flooding will not be an issue. We’ll have plenty of time in between rounds. Current rain estimates are in the 1-2″ range for the next five days.
