Tonight: Mostly cloudy, mild, and breezy. Couple of showers are possible, but most stay dry and breezy. Lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy, mild, and breezy. Highs in the mid 70s. Rain chance is around 30 percent during the day, but rain chances will increase after midnight. Overnight temperatures will be in the lower 60s.
Friday: Rounds of heavy rain possible, especially during the morning hours. Severe weather threat is low, but not zero. Highs in the lower 70s. Rain totals look to be around 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts.
Saturday & Sunday: Early showers are possible Saturday morning, but the rain will end by the afternoon and especially New Years Eve night. Temperatures will likely be in the 50s as we ring in the New Year! Mostly sunny and pleasant on New Years Day with highs in the 70s.
Next Week: Our next storm system will begin to move into the region Monday and Tuesday. We will need to watch out for heavy rain and strong to severe storms. Rain totals between now and next Wednesday look to be 4 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts almost a guarantee. Stay tuned for the details.
