Today: A cool start to our day, but we will warm up quickly. Highs will top out in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Low humidity will make it feel fantastic outside once again. Plenty of sunshine is in store for us. Enjoy!
Tonight: Clear and cool with overnight temperatures in the mid 50s. Baton Rouge low near 56.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and warm as a dry cold front moves into the region. This will not bring any rain – just possibly some passing clouds. Highs will top out in the low and mid 80s. This front will bring another surge of dry air. Overnight temperatures in the mid 50s.
Friday: Plenty of sunshine and cooler with highs in the mid and upper 70s. Overnight temperatures in the lower 50s. Some may drop into the upper 40s by Saturday morning.
Weekend: Sunny to mostly skies and comfortable with highs in the mid and upper 70s on Saturday and upper 70s to around 80°F on Sunday. Overnight temperatures in the low and mid 50s.
Next Week: Another front will likely move in on Monday. This will bring another round of dry air.
Tracking the Tropics: A tropical wave will interact with a frontal boundary in the coming days in the western and northwestern Caribbean. It will have the potential to develop into a tropical system by the weekend. Where it goes from there is up in the air. We will know more in the coming days. No imminent threat.
