Today & Tonight: Today will be the coolest day of the week thanks to a cold front. We’ll see plenty of sunshine and it will be breezy. Some high clouds may be pass through the area this afternoon. Highs will be in the mid and upper 60s. Overnight temperatures will fall into the low and mid 40s.
Thursday: We’ll see plenty of sun before clouds gradually begin to return late Thursday ahead of our next system, which is set to arrive Friday and Saturday. Highs in the lower 70s. Overnight temperatures in the mid 50s.
Friday: A storm system will begin to approach our area from the west. We we likely start seeing spotty showers and storms late in the morning before storms become more scattered to numerous late in the day/evening and overnight. The SPC has placed our area under a Slight and Marginal Risk for severe weather. All modes of severe weather will be possible. Exact timing will need to be fine-tuned, but for now, the window of opportunity looks to be late Friday through Saturday morning. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, warm, and breezy with highs in the mid 70s. Overnight temperatures will be in the mid 60s.
Saturday: We will have the severe weather risk through at least Saturday morning. Rain chances will taper throughout the morning and by the afternoon once a cold front passes. Clouds and sun otherwise with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Breezy. Overnight temperature near 57°F.
Sunday: Sunny skies return and it will be warm and not as humid. High near 80°F. Overnight temperature near 57°F.
Next Week: We will warm up into the low and mid 80s. Storm chances return Tuesday, but more so on Wednesday. We may need to watch for severe storms by midweek.
