Today: We’r in for another hot day with slightly above-average temperatures. Highs will rise into the lower 90s with heat indices close to 100. The day will start with lots of sunshine, but more clouds will move in this afternoon. There is also the chance for isolated storms, but most areas will stay dry. Winds will be easterly at 5-10 mph. High near 93.
Tonight: We’ll get some relief from the heat overnight, but we’ll still deal with some humidity. Temperatures will drop into the lower 70s, and skies will be mostly clear. Winds will be light out of the east. Low near 72.
Extended: Tomorrow and Friday will be even hotter with highs in the mid 90s. Heat indices will likely jump into the triple digits, so be sure to practice heat safety. Expect lots of sunshine tomorrow and a few more clouds on Friday. There is a chance for isolated storms on Friday, but the weekend will provide a better chance for storms. There is a chance for scattered storms on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will be in the low 90s. Monday and Tuesday, however, will provide the best chances for rain. We are again looking at scattered storms, but temperatures on these days will be cooler and closer to average.
