Today: Once again, temperatures will rise into the mid 80s, so it will be an unseasonably warm day. We’ll will start with mostly cloudy skies, but by the afternoon, expect sunshine and blue skies. Winds will be light. Highs near 86.
Tonight: Lows will fall into the lower 60s, so it will be cooler than last night but still above average. Clouds will move back into the region, making for partly cloudy skies overnight. Winds will be light. Lows near 63.
Extended: A big warm up is ahead. Tomorrow, on Friday and on Saturday, highs will reach the upper 80s and lower 90s. We could tie or break records that were set back in the 1920s. These warm temperatures, however, will not last. A cold front will push through on Saturday night, and ahead of the front, we could see a few scattered showers. Sunday looks to be mainly dry, but it will be much cooler with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. On Monday and Tuesday, we’ll be close to seasonal, but we could see scattered showers on both days.
