Today: We kicked off the first of April on a chilly note – the coolest morning we’ve seen in several weeks! High pressure will keep us nice and dry today. High clouds will paint the sky, but it will still be a lovely day to get some fresh air. Afternoon highs will top out in the mid 70s. Enjoy the low humidity because the “muggies” will return later this week.
Tonight: More clouds will move in tonight, leaving us partly to mostly cloudy at times. Overnight temperatures will dip into the lower 50s. Some areas may drop into the upper 40s once again, whereas others will only drop into the mid 50s.
Thursday: A mix of clouds and sun with highs in the upper 70s. It will be a touch more humid, as well.
Friday: A storm system will begin to approach the region from the west. Rain chance will be around 20%. Otherwise, partly cloudy with highs topping out in the lower 80s.
Weekend: Thanks to the approaching system, rain chances will increase on Saturday. Currently, we are forecasting around 40-50% coverage. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 70s. The system may not even push through the area and it may lift to the north. Rain chance decreases to around 30% on Sunday. Highs will be in the lower 80s once again.
Next Week: Scattered showers are possible early in the week. Temperatures will trend well-above normal in the mid and upper 80s. We may even some 90s around the area by the middle half of the week.
