Today: Areas of patchy fog to start the morning. Clouds and sun today with highs in the 80s. Winds will begin to pick up out of the southeast around 10-20 miles per hour with higher wind gusts. Rain chance during the late afternoon and evening will be around 40%. A few stronger storms may be possible this evening.
Tonight – Thursday: Showers and storms are likely. Some storms may be strong to severe. The SPC has our area under a Marginal and Slight Risk for severe weather tonight and into Thursday morning. The main threats will be damaging wind and hail. A tornado or two cannot be ruled out. As of now, this looks to be an overnight through mid-morning threat, so you must have multiple ways to get warnings and ways that will wake you up. Rain chance is around 60% tonight through Thursday morning. A cold front will clear the rain out by the afternoon.
Friday: Mostly sunny and very warm with highs in the mid 80s.
Weekend: A cold front is set to move into the region. Rain chances overall are pretty low right now. Highs will be in the 80s on Saturday and 70s on Sunday. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Enjoy!
