Tonight: Early evening showers. Cold front will pass by morning. Areas of patchy fog are possible overnight and early Thursday morning. Morning temperatures will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Thursday: Cold front will usher in drier air, which means we will be rain-free Thursday-Saturday. Also, it won’t be as humid and mornings will be a little cooler. We’ll wake up to the upper 60s on Thursday. Highs will be in the upper 80s and it will be breezy.
Friday: It will feel wonderful Friday morning! Morning temperatures will be in the low and mid 60s. Sunny skies with highs near 87 on Friday. Overnight temperatures will be in the low and mid 60s again!
Weekend: A pleasant start to Saturday with morning temperatures in the low and mid 60s again. Mostly sunny and warm during the afternoon with highs near 88. Southerly winds will return by Sunday, which means it won’t be as pleasant Sunday morning and during the afternoon. Also, there is the chance for a spotty showers. Rain chance is around 40% on Sunday, but the best chance for rain will be south of I-10.
Next Week: Humidity and rain chances return as disturbance passes to our west and southwest. Rain chances are around 50% each day with highs in the mid 80s. Mornings will be near 70.
Tracking the Tropics: Larry continues to move over the open Atlantic. Tropical alerts have been issued for Bermuda. This will stay away from the United States, but will impact the Atlantic coastline with an increased rip current risk. Tropical Depression Thirteen will head toward the Florida Panhandle tonight. We are not expecting significant impacts from this – maybe cloud cover and some coastal rain.
