Tonight: Get ready for a cold night! Overnight temperatures will be in the mid and upper 30s. This will lead to areas of frost along and north of the I-10/I-12. A light freeze is possible for Southwest Mississippi areas. Protect pets, plants, and people!

Thursday & Friday: High temperatures will be in the low and mid 50s on Thursday. Clouds should thin a bit and we may even have sunshine. A passing disturbance could lead to a shower or two, but the best chance for rain will be closer to the coast and offshore. Most precipitation will likely evaporate before reaching the surface. Overnight temperatures are expected to dip down into the upper 20s to lower 30s. Neighborhoods in Southwest Mississippi and near the state line may even drop into the mid 20s, which would lead to a hard freeze. We can expect at least a light to moderate by Friday morning. Best to keep the plants covered or keep them indoors for the next couple of days. Do NOT forget about your pets! High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 50s on Friday thanks to more sunshine in place. Showers are possible late Friday and overnight.

This Weekend: Another cold front will clear the area by Saturday and showers are possible. Highs will be in the mid 50s. Overnight temperatures will be in the 30s again.  A light freeze may be possible again for some Sunday night and into Monday morning.

Next Week Outlook: Temperatures look to moderate into the 60s next week and leading up to Thanksgiving. For now, Thanksgiving Day temperatures could be in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees. Another system may move in Wednesday and Thanksgiving. Stay tuned as we iron out the details.
