Tonight: As a cold front nears our area, another round of rain may move into the area overnight or early Thursday morning. The rain should move out of here from north to south by sunrise. Morning temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s.
Thursday: The front should clear from north to south as the day goes on and clearing skies should follow. Temperatures will be in the mid and upper 80s. Overnight temperatures will be back down in the 50s.
Friday & Saturday: We’re mostly sunny and warm over the weekend. Humidity will creep back up, as well. Highs will be in the mid and upper 80s through the weekend. Morning lows will be the 60s once again.
Next Week: Another front is expected to move into the area on Monday. Before then, showers are possible during the second half of our Sunday, Sunday night, and into Monday. Models are not in agreement with the timing of the front, the timing of the rain, and how much rain we could see. For now, we will keep modest rain chances for Sunday, Monday, and a slight chance for a shower or two on Tuesday. Clouds may linger for most of the day on Tuesday. Temperatures will be much cooler in the 70s and mornings will be in the 40s and 50s. The chilliest mornings may end up being Wednesday and Thursday morning. Stay tuned as we fine-tune the forecast.
Tracking the Tropics: Tropical Storm Karl developed in the Bay of Campeche and it will eventually move back toward Mexico.
