Thursday: Spotty showers and thunderstorms with highs near 90. It will feel like the upper 90s to around 100. Rain chance is around 40-50%.
Friday & Weekend: Rain chances will be around 60% on Friday through Sunday. Heavy rain will be a threat and possibly even a few stronger storms. Highs will be in the 80s and 90s. 7 day rainfall totals look to be 2-3″ with locally higher amounts, especially near the coast.

Tracking the Tropics: Potential Tropical Cyclone 5 has been named in the open Atlantic. It will likely become Tropical Storm Elsa soon. We will have plenty of time to watch. Let’s get through the holiday weekend and we will have a better feel of where it will likely go. No imminent threats.
