Tonight: Partly cloudy overnight. Overnight temperatures in the mid and upper 70s.

Thursday & Friday: A couple of pop-up thunderstorms, but rain coverage will be lower than previous days. Temperatures will climb back up into the mid 90s. Heat indices will be in the 100s.

This Weekend: Spotty afternoon storms on Saturday, but there will be plenty of dry time in the mix. The rain chance will increase on Sunday as a stalling front will lead to higher rain coverage. Otherwise, partly cloudy and hot with highs in the low and mid 90s.

Next Week: Scattered storms Monday and Tuesday thanks to the stalled boundary. We return to a normal summertime weather pattern Wednesday. Daily storm chances with highs near-normal in the lower 90s.

Tracking the Tropics: No additional development for the next 5 days.
